Mission in Pursuit of a Vision
 
Any worthwhile accomplishment begins with a dream.  A dream to get a base hit and hear the umpire call “SAFE!”, a dream to catch a fly ball for the first time, a dream to laugh and have fun with your team mates on a Saturday morning.  It all begins with a dream.

 This dream began with the Forsyth County Lions Club in January 2005.  The dream was to someway, somehow help create a miracle for children with disabilities in order for them to realize their dreams of playing baseball.  But, how does a child in a wheel chair run the bases?  How does a child without sight make a contact with a ball?  How does a child with autism stand in the outfield and catch the fly ball for the last out?  It would definitely take a miracle.

The dream was so exciting and so big that others wanted to help create this miracle.  And not just any miracle, but a Miracle League!  As a result, the Cumming, Forsyth County… continue with existing paragraph on web page.

Cumming-Forsyth County Miracle League was founded in June 2005 with a vision to provide children with mental and/or physical challenges the opportunity to play baseball as a team member in an organized league. The league provides an opportunity these children might not otherwise ever have. In the Cumming-Forsyth County Miracle League, every player plays, every player hits, every player gets on base, every player scores, and every player wins - every inning.
 
April 2008 - The dream became a reality, with the grand opening of the 200' (Mondo) artificial surface field for our Spring 2008 season. A season CFCML season record 103 players participated in the Spring season. The new CFCML facility includes the following  handicap-accessible amenities: restrooms, family restrooms and playground.
